Founded in 1996, Break the Cycle is the only agency to provide comprehensive dating abuse prevention programs exclusively to young people. We believe everyone has the right to a safe and healthy relationship and work every day to make that right into a reality. The mission of Break the Cycle is to inspire and support young people to build healthy relationships and create a culture without abuse.
Circle of 6 | "A free app that prevents violence before it happens"
Circle of 6 is an iPhone app for friends to stay close, stay safe, and prevent violence before it happens. It takes two touches to get help, so no fumbling or digging around for the right number. Icons represent actions that send out specific text messages, such as, "Come and get me. I need help getting home safely," and "Come and get me. I need help getting home safely." These icons are in effect so that no one can tell what you're up to if they see your phone. The design ensures safety, speed and privacy. GPS is integrated (using Google maps), and is only activated by you, and sent to your own Circle of 6. Furthermore, the app also has an icon that connects you to the sexual assault hotline and the domestic violence hotline.

Knightlamp is a company dedicated to finding ways that support those working with childhood adversity. This company holds the firm belief that healing is possible, and that every child is worthy of love, excellent care, and of the best opportunities for a fulfilling life. Knightlamp attracts compassionate realists with high ideals. All Knightlamp staff are tertiary qualified in their relevant roles, and are all selected on stringent criteria that includes amenability, compassion, experience and understanding of trauma.

Loveisrespect National Teen Dating Abuse Helpline was launched February 8, 2007 by the National Domestic Violence Hotline. This 24-hour national Web-based and telephone resource was created to help teens experiencing dating abuse, and is the only helpline in the country serving all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. In addition to the telephone hotline there is also a live chat option, which allows teens to connect to trained peer advocates via the web. Loveisrespect peer advocates are trained to offer crisis intervention, advocacy, and information and referrals.

NCADV is an organization founded in 1978 in Washington, D.C. with a goal to “organize for collective power by advancing transformative work, thinking and leadership in communities and individuals who seek to end violence in our lives.” NCADV not only focuses on domestic violence in the home, but also society-wide violence and factors which perpetuate violence against women and children. Over the years multiple corporate sponsors have joined up with NCADV to provide funding for the organization's services.

The National Domestic Violence Hotline is a 24-hour, confidential, toll-free hotline created through the Violence Against Women Act in the United States. Hotline staff immediately connect the caller to a service provider in his or her area. Highly trained advocates provide support, information, referrals, safety planning, and crisis intervention in 170 languages to hundreds of thousands of domestic violence victims. As of October 2013, the hotline offers services via online chat during selected hours of the day.
